# Pixeltable is Coming to Data Council Oakland!

We're excited to announce that Pixeltable will be at **Data Council Oakland, April 22-24, 2025**!

Don't miss the talk by our Co-Founder & CTO, Marcel Kornacker:

### [Introducing Pixeltable: Open Source Data Infrastructure for Multimodal AI](https://www.datacouncil.ai/talks24/introducing-pixeltable-open-source-data-infrastructure-for-multimodal-ai)

Marcel, founder of Apache Impala and co-founder of Apache Parquet, will introduce Pixeltable, an open-source solution designed to transform how we build multimodal AI applications. He'll discuss how Pixeltable provides robust, Python-based data infrastructure with a declarative, incremental approach, simplifying complex workflows and overcoming the limitations of traditional systems.

Learn how Pixeltable brings together data, computation, and models into a unified interface, offering automatic versioning, incremental updates, and streamlined pipeline management for ML engineers and data scientists.

We hope to see you there! It's a fantastic opportunity to connect and learn about the latest in data infrastructure. Check out the [full Data Council lineup](https://www.datacouncil.ai/bay-2025) and make sure to add Marcel's talk to your schedule.
